More About Me
Hey I'm Nitya – a UI/UX Designer based in India, and on the lookout for new full-time opportunities to contribute my design expertise to collaborative teams! I am working in a field where both my artistic as well as technical skills are appreciated and it gives me a sense of purpose.

As a freelancer, I’ve designed dashboards for ONEWAYX and revamped the Rainvas Shopify website, creating user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and brand identities for B2B and B2C experiences.

In my past role as the Design Lead at Girl Power Talk, I took charge of the entire process of creating web/mobile designs, encompassing UX and UI, discovering and defining a problem, empathically designing a solution, as well as managing a team of designers, and taking ownership of the products. With valuable experience gained during my journey, I can assert with confidence that design is not just a career for me; it's my passion and calling.

The design has helped me find my way in life. I was exposed to the design thinking process after working for a few years in Finance as Research and Investment Analyst. It sparked my curiosity about research and to learn more about Finance, I earned a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Financial Management from NMIMS Global. it connects the bridge between my financial background with the creative problem-solving aspects of design.

Outside of work, I'm an artist at heart—I dance, sketch, and click pictures. But that's not all – I'm also passionate about storytelling. I am constantly learning new things and I capture ideas from the world. From its beauty and weirdness. I love to observe people and things. For me, design is therapy.
